Lisa is a former diplomat with over 15 years’ experience working in senior policy and strategic roles for the Commonwealth and Victorian governments. She was posted to France as an Australian diplomatic representative where she worked on expanding ties between Australia and France in the Pacific region and strategic cooperation between France and Australia including in Afghanistan. She also held responsibility for Australia’s diplomatic relations with Morocco and Monaco, for which the Paris Embassy was accredited.

Lisa has held a number of senior roles within the Victorian Government including at the Department of Premier and Cabinet where she worked on the delivery of complex programs to increase workforce access and participation, including developing the successful Victorian Government Veteran Employment Program. As a Senior Business Engagement Manager, Lisa assisted over 100 businesses in the health, innovation and services sectors to develop domestic and international partnerships and expand their export markets and as a Principal Adviser to Sport and Recreation Victoria, Lisa supported the delivery of over $300 million of community sport programs and infrastructure.

Lisa holds a Masters in Public Policy and Administration, a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) and a Bachelor of Arts (International Relations) from the University of Melbourne.
