Ranj Samrai is the Program Director for the AALD, joining the organization in 2017.  Ranj has worked in the private diplomatic sector for more than one decade managing bi-lateral and multi-lateral engagement programs to advance Australia’s interests around the world, most recently with the United States.

In her earlier career, Ranj worked in the non-profit sector with large global health and international development organizations.

Ranj has a Masters of Marketing from Monash University.

Personally, Ranj is an avid supporter of the Hawthorn Football Club and is on the Board of the Chamberlain Foundation, a Charitable Trust to raise funds for suicide prevention.
