V-AALD – On the Ground Insights From Ukraine

During a special virtual YLD and YLDA session on 31 March 2022, we were privileged to hear Peter Jennings PSM from the Australian Strategic Policy Institute (ASPI) interview YLD Alumni and AFR journalist Misha Zelinsky about his on the ground experience in Ukraine during the Russian military invasion. Peter and Misha had a dynamic and far-reaching exchange about Putin’s motivations, the mindset of the Ukrainian population, expectations for how the conflict might develop and the broader geo-political implications for Europe, America, China and Australia. It was a truly unique opportunity to hear Misha’s firsthand experience and insights.
