John Harrison Streicker is Chairman of Sentinel Real Estate Corporation, a real estate investment advisor serving institutions in America, Australia, Europe and the Middle East. Founded in 1969, Sentinel has headquarters in New York City with 17 US offices as well as offices in Melbourne, Amsterdam, Munich and Singapore.

Mr. Streicker is a frequent visitor to Australia. He produces wines in Margaret River under the “Clairault” and “Streicker” labels.  In 2006, he founded a US-based charity to facilitate contributions by US taxpayers to support Australian wildlife conservation.  Sentinel’s Melbourne office services Australian institutions building US real estate portfolios.  Sentinel also has begun building Australian real estate portfolios for its institutional clients and has recently completed Australia’s first build-to rent residential development, luxury apartment building in Perth.

Mr. Streicker is a trustee of The Graduate Center Foundation of the City University of New York, Friends of Australian Wildlife Conservancy, and Business Executives for National Security.

He also belongs to and is a former board member of The Association of Foreign Investors in Real Estate (AFIRE) and National Association of Real Estate Investment Managers (NAREIM).  He is a former President of Temple Emanu-El of The City of New York, and a former member of President’s Foreign Intelligence Advisory Board.

Mr. Streicker holds an AB from Princeton University and a JD from Yale Law School.  He received a Doctorate in Humane Letters (honoris causa) from The City University of New York in 2011.
