A terrific virtual Leadership Dialogue with the Hon John Brumby AO, Chair of Breakthrough Victoria, Dawn Meyerriecks, former Deputy Director of Science and Technology at the CIA moderated by Glenn Gaffney, Senior Fellow of IQT was held on 23 March 2022. Our thought leaders discussed innovation ecosystems in Australia and the US and explored key areas for future innovation investment, challenges around investing in research and commercialisation of new technologies and opportunities for partnership and collaboration, including in data sharing and technology transfer. This virtual discussion provided an excellent pretext for discussions that will be taken forward during the upcoming 2022 Southwest Leadership Dialogue in Tempe, Arizona and the 30th Annual AALD Forum in Washington in July.
