John Tass-Parker’s career spans global technology platforms, financial institutions and government. He is Executive Director for AI Policy & Partnerships at JPMorganChase in New York, where he focuses on how major institutions deploy artificial intelligence responsibly while strengthening collaboration between industry, governments and regulators.
Previously, John spent nearly a decade at Instagram, where he built and led the company’s global Politics & Government function before serving as Director of Strategic Initiatives. In those roles he worked with leaders across government, media and business in more than 50 countries while helping guide the platform through periods of rapid technological change and geopolitical scrutiny.
John began his career as an adviser to Australian Prime Ministers Julia Gillard and Kevin Rudd. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Australian American Leadership Dialogue. He is also a Fellow of the Sine Institute for Policy & Politics at American University and serves on the Advisory Council of the Fred Hollows Foundation USA. He has been recognized by Forbes as one of their 30 Under 30 and with an Edward R. Murrow Award.
