The inaugural Space Leadership Dialogue (SLD) was held in April 2025, bringing together visionary space leaders, innovators, and defence and security strategists, to engage in critical discussions on the future of space exploration and defence.
With sessions and site visits to leading research and innovation institutions including Lockheed Martin Space, Colorado School of Mines, and the University of Colorado, the SLD explores ways in which space can serve as the ultimate frontier for defence, innovation, advanced surveillance, and communication. It highlights how Australia and the United States can continue their momentum in the development of space technologies, not just as partners, but as peers.
